University of the Arts London (UAL) is “the world’s biggest factory for making trouble” (Grayson Perry). We are one university, made up of six Colleges and over 19,000 students from across the globe. UAL is ranked in the top 2 universities in the world for Art and Design (QS World University Rankings 2023).
UAL offers many courses in Performance and design for theatre and screen at
undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Two of our Colleges will be joining TheatreCraft 2023.
Wimbledon College of Arts
Wimbledon College of Arts is dedicated to the study of stage and screen
performance, training students to become innovative performers and experimental
designers.
It offers a wide variety of courses ranging from acting and performance to design and
digital production, covering live performance, set and costume design, model making
and prop making, animatronics and prosthetics, puppetry and the exploration of
politics and social justice in contemporary performance. The College has undergone
a multimillion-pound redevelopment, providing high-quality studios and facilities, and
investment in new digital technology.

Central Saint Martins
Central Saint Martins is alive with different ways of thinking, making and doing.
Across art, design and performance, our students create the ideas, materials and
actions for a better future.
Performance courses at Central Saint Martins take an interdisciplinary, experimental
and frequently collaborative approach to performance-making. The work produced is
political, free-thinking and inclusive. It encompasses, moving image, socially-
engaged practice, choreography, scenography, dramaturgy and immersive
technologies.
