The Orange Tree Theatre is an award-winning, independent theatre. Recognised as a powerhouse that creates high-quality productions of new and rediscovered plays, we entertain 70,000 people across the UK every year. The Orange Tree is an intimate theatre ‘in the round’ now approaching its 49th year of theatre making, and over 30 years of community and education work. We believe in the power of dramatic stories to entertain, thrill and challenge us; plays that enrich our lives by enhancing our understanding of ourselves and each other. As a registered charity (266128) sitting at the heart of its community, we work with 10,000 people in Richmond and beyond through participatory theatre projects for people of all ages and abilities. In the last years, the OT has been recognised for its work with 27 major industry awards, including 15 Off West End Awards, 12 UK Theatre Awards including London’s Most Welcoming Theatre, the Alfred Fagon Audience Award and the Peter Brook Empty Space Award. We want everyone to feel at home at the OT – there are so many ways to get involved; visit https://www.orangetreetheatre.co.uk/ for more details.
