The ‘Design for Performance’ area in the Nottingham School of Art And Design at Nottingham Trent University has been running over 45 years.

NTU has BA (hons) degree courses in Design for Theatre and Live Performance, Costume Design and Construction and Design for Film and Television, and we explore all aspects of contemporary theatre, film and TV design practice, including: set design and construction; scenic art; site-specific design; puppetry; heritage installation, design for live events and music, community and education. On the Costume course they’ll help you develop your creative ideas into professional costumes for theatre, film and television, dance, opera and other performance areas.
