We’re offering three types of sessions at Theatrecraft26: Starting Out, Stepping Up and Events For All. Sessions are marked by their relevant colour.
- Starting Out is for individuals who are exploring theatre as a potential career and want to learn more.
- Stepping Up is for those committed to a career in theatre, who are undergoing training or have completed work experience or an internship and are ready to take the next step.
- Events For All are open to everyone, no matter their career stage or experience level.
Producing vs General Management

Workshop Information:
Ever wondered what really goes on behind the curtain at one of the world’s most iconic theatres? Join Shakespeare’s Globe for an inspiring and revealing session about life at the heart of a world-class arts organisation. In this workshop, Angie and Tamsin will share: What a General Manager actually does; what it means to be a Producer; their own career journeys — and how you can get started; the different types of General Management across the industry; how GMs and Producers collaborate with each other and wider teams; what it’s really like to be a GM or Senior Producer at Shakespeare’s Globe. You’ll leave with practical insights, insider tips and a clearer picture of the paths into these fascinating roles. They’ll finish with an open Q&A, so you can put your own questions to Angie and Tamsin!
This session will be hosted by Angie Fullman (General Manager, Shakespeare’s Globe) and Tamsin Mehta (Senior Producer, Shakespeare’s Globe).
