The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the largest arts festival in the world and the Pleasance Theatre Trust has been a staple since 1985. At the 2023 festival we operated 30 venues across 3 sites, bringing audiences of over 600,000 and presenting 5,723 performances. Each year we recruit a huge team of volunteers who play a vital role in the day to day running of the sites. In this workshop you’ll learn more about the kinds of opportunities and training available through the programme, as well as learning more about how the festival as a whole operates.
This session will be hosted by Laura Schofield from the Pleasance Theatre Trust.
This session is step free, and accessible to wheelchair users. Our team are here to help, go to the info desk in the registration foyer and one of our team will escort you to this session via the accessible route. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session starts, to ensure you have plenty of time to get there.
