The Royal Opera House is one of the busiest stages in Europe with over 300 performances a year. Everything that happens on the stage is organised and managed at some point by the stage management team and nothing comes on or off the stage without them cueing it. Learn about the different roles in the Royal Opera House stage management team and how they work with other departments to make the shows happen. One of these teams is the Armoury who are responsible for the safe use of weapons and pyrotechnics on the stage – learn how the Stage Management team specifically works with Armoury to make every performance go with a bang!

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session starts, to ensure you have plenty of time to get there.

In Person Waiting List: If the RSVP for this event is closed, you will be able to join the ‘on the day’ waitlist which will operate at the session venue in case of any last minute cancellations. Just come to the venue and a volunteer will direct you to where you need to queue. This will operate on a first come first served basis, and will not guarantee entry.
