Exhibitor Marketplace Quiet Hour
The quiet hour from 9-10am is aimed at attendees who find large public spaces, noise and crowds of people difficult to deal with. If you would like to attend the exhibitor marketplace in quiet hour, please tick the relevant box in the registration form.
Public Transport Information
The Royal Opera House is located on Bow Street, London, WC2E 9DD Click here to go to Google Maps.
By train: The nearest Underground station is Covent Garden on the Piccadilly Line. You can also use Leicester Square (Northern Line and Piccadilly Line), Holborn (Piccadilly and Central Line) and Charing Cross (Northern and Bakerloo Line).
By bus: The closest bus station is Aldwych which is a 3 minute walk from the Royal Opera house. The following bus lines stop there; 1, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 15, 23, 26, 68, 76, 87, 91, 168, 171, 176, 188, 501 (southbound only), 505, 521, X68.
By car: There is no designated parking at the ROH.
Step-Free Access
There are a number of spaces across the event that offer step-free access. Please see below a downloadable document with information about which workshop locations have step-free access, and some further access details about some specific sessions: TheatreCraft25 Venue Access Info.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets are located close to all wheelchair spaces in the Main Stage auditorium. Our Front of House teams will be available to guide you if you need. All accessible toilets are gender neutral and have an alarm pull cord in case of emergency. We do not currently have changing facilities. Accessible toilets can be found on:
- Ground floor
Go straight ahead after entering the building via the Bow Street entrance. The toilets are found next to the lift on the left-hand-side of the Main Stage auditorium. - Linbury Foyer
Take the corridor behind the Linbury Bar on the lower floor, or by lift down from the ground floor (left-hand side of the Main Stage auditorium). - Level 5
Take the lifts on the right-hand side of the Main Stage auditorium to get to Level 5. The toilets can be found by following the corridor to the right of the bar.
British Sign Language (BSL) Performance Interpreter
There will be activities on the day which will be BSL interpreted. These will be clearly highlighted in our events page. If you would like a list of BSL Interpreted events, please email us here.
Hearing (Induction) Loops
Hearing loops are available in the Royal Opera House Main Auditorium (induction loop and RF system available). If you would like to use one of the hearing loops, please speak to one of our volunteers in pink t-shirts.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere in the Royal Opera House.
Flashing Lights & Strobe Effects
There may be some flashing lights and strobe effects used in some workshops or on-stage demonstrations. Where this is the case, signs will be placed at the entrance to the workshop. If you are likely to be affected by these types of effects, please ensure you check before entering the workshop.
